am i the only one who notices that whenever people say something about a black person they always have to say ‘black guy’ or ‘black girl’ ?? and when theyre talking about a white person they just use the pronouns alone?? can people stop doing that??

when…

Right. People expect black people to degrade ourselves and be stereotypical in order to be their comic relief even though its racially offensive. And when we address their racist and/or steretypical jokes it is made like we are the party poopers or the bad guys and that we need to “lighten up”. And if a black woman speaks up on it we become the black girl with the additude or the “angry black woman”.

I KNOW OMHG i fucking hate when someone makes an offensive joke and acts like a victim when they get called out on it rhjdfskj

when people state that the person’s race is black they are usually doing something stereotypical or bad. i personally feel like that have to state that the person is black because they believe that is the reason that person did such a thing.

exactly and people also do it when theyre doing something odd or funny and they add in that the person is black as if it makes it funnier

but there are situations where its okay to say it like when their race is actually makes whatever theyre doing funny (ex. “today i saw a black guy wearing a t shirt that said ‘white’ ” or something like that. and i think its okay to state the race when you need to specify the person. like a couple days ago i posted “ i saw the asian guy from harold and kumar” but i just stated his race because hes the only (obvious) asian person from that movie

i wish i was a dog
